After the transfer deadline: Where will Tottenham finish the season?
by offsidetrap on February 5th, 2009 8 commentsWell the transfer deadline has come and passed and what you’re looking at right now is the team you’ll be finishing the season with. Scary or not, it’s time to believe in the starting XI (even if you don’t really want to). For some clubs, this is the time of the year when the sweet smell of European football comes calling; for others, this is the time of the season where the thought of a relegation battle starts to settle in.
We want to know based on the current squad where your club will finish the season. Do you have the horses for a top four finish, or are you already preparing for trips to West Bridgford and South Norwood next season?
Let us know in the comment box below.

anything above 13th has to be a bonus. start again and rebuild for next season (i seem to say that every year)

Lets survive this season and see what the closed season brings in the way of players out and players in. We need players who will fight for the right to wear the shirt and dig deep when required to do so. I would like to see some more english players come in, with proven PL experience. More than anything else i would like spurs to play consistantly, maybe Harry can get us playing that way, I hope so.

We will stay up& of course we have a chance of winning another trophy…But lets jus secure our premiership position& learn from our mistakes.

Staying up is the most important , around 11th i guess.
But beating Man U in the Cup would repay the heartache and dissappointment feeling us supporters have felt all season.

The one place that worried me is at the back on paper we should be one of the best defences how can fulhams defence and evertons be one of the best all of a sudden when at the start they were both rocky remember blackburn 3-2 at goodison even baines who whas shite now brill fulham without hangerland 6ft 5 of him drew 0-0 with us yet we miss king and we leak goals somthing doesent had up hear west brom missing robinson miete .Young ex luton centre half barnes drafted in not played mutch and miller missing score beat 2-0 bolton best player and capt missing sold sore 3-2 beat everton strikers injured player not played for months and not scored for 12 months scores beat 1-0 i could go on dawson is great facing defenders its when croosse and corners he gets beat and this is he is to thin and is easly knocked of the ball and so is woodgate is back is also weak cudacini exposed this like robbo by staying on his line at every free kick and corner where gomes mixes it with punches and catches bolton we would have not concede two mabye three of there goals . this is where harry has failed to address and the young hopfulls are on loane dervitte and henville
