After Darren Fletcher’s family was horribly held at knifepoint, the list of players targeted recently is staggering:
- Steven Gerrard
- Dirk Kuyt
- Pepe Reina
- Daniel Agger
- Robbie Keane
- Peter Crouch
- Florent Sinama-Pongolle
- Jerzy Dudek
It’s a terrible thing to happen to anyone, but if you’re a Liverpool or Manchester United player on 40k a week and you see this list – surely you can invest in a better security? Celebrities all across the world invest in security and footballers are England’s most high profile faces.
