Liverpool keen on FANTASTIC £14m youngster: Already a top notch international!

If this rumour turns out to be true then there will be one hell of a queue forming at this guys door!

Manchester City defender Micah Richards’ future is in doubt.

The People says the 21-year-old Eastlands favourite is now no longer regarded by manager Mark Hughes as an ideal central defender – and may struggle to establish himself at right-back given the form of Pablo Zabaleta.

Richards is still a close-season target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger as well as Tottenham chief Harry Redknapp – with Ledley King restricted by injury.

Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez is still keen on Richards too, and the defender will be a wanted man as soon as Hughes grabs a centre-half this summer. (tribalfootball.com)

If Man City were stupid enough to consider letting Micah leave then Rafa would no doubt bite Mark Hughes arms up to the elbow for the fantastic young defender. He arrived on the scene with a bang and whilst he may have dipped a little this season the Eastlands man is still one of the hottest prospects around and one who could be a great addition to the back line at Anfield. Richards is probably more adept at centre back but could fill in either role nicely at the Merseyside outfit and this could be even more relevant if Daniel Agger leaves for Italy as many papers have speculated. Do Liverpool fans rate the kid and would he be worth the reported £14m valuation?
