Man City convinced they will sign £10m SUPERSTAR!

Manchester City are convinced of landing Barcelona striker Thierry Henry for £10 million.
The People says they believe Barca can be persuaded to sell Henry, who is open to the idea of a move back to England.
Henry’s prospects have improved in his second season at the Nou Camp under boss Pep Guardiola but it is believed he could be tempted to City – especially as they are one of the few clubs in the world who could improve his current £110,000-a-week wages.
The French striker and Arsenal legend also has a young daughter in England so a move to the Premier League would help his personal life. (tribalfootball.com)
Well i find this very very hard to believe. I would be willing to bet a very large sum of money that Thierry Henry will never return to play in the Premier League unless it was a return to Arsenal. It’s not that i don’t think City are capable of snaring top notch strikers, after all they got Robinho, it’s more that TH14 represented so much to the north London club and he clearly has a great deal of respect for the club and just don’t think he plans on moving back and i think in all likelihood he will see out his career at the Nou Camp or possibly finish up in France. I do however think that the Eastlands outfit will spend big in the summer but surely they should be looking to shore up the backline, especially now they have an excellent keeper to depend on in the form of Shay Given. Who do City fans think the club should move for in the summer? Also, does anything written in The People ever turn out to be true?

Wouldn’t touch Gordon Brown with a barge pole, his whole game was based on pace and his legs have gone now. That Obama looks a bit tasty though, would give us a bit more height in attack. The only possible sticking point might be his wage demands.
As for Alexander the Great, surely Julius Ceasar or Hannibal would be a more viable option?

Its to be expected that we get linked to these nonsense stories these days but that will soon become apparent and they will no doubt eventually start to cease.

i can assure you gordon brown will not be at city, we’re actually after micheal hesseltine who’s expeirienced in defence and bin laden paired with george bush for attack. anything else you read is utter shat.
