Wenger set to make another attempt at signing this youngster.
Arsenal Football Club have made Mamadou Sakho a major summer target.
The 19-year-old is currently plying his trade in Ligue 1 with Paris St Germain, who are believed to have rejected an offer from the Gunners in January.
Sakho is regarded as the best defensive talent to emerge from France in some years, and has been likened to former Chelsea and AC Milan ace Marcel Desailly. (fansfc.com)
Mamadou has become one of the hottest prospects in French football and it’s not surprise that Arsene Wenger has been connected with another move for the adaptable defender. At just 17 he became the youngster player to ever captain a Ligue 1 side and has already become a regular in the Under 21 international set-up at the age of 19. Sakho has helped his PSG side keep up with perennial title winners Lyon. The £6m rated centre back can also play out on the left and could prove hard to pluck from the French side’s clutches. Do Gunners fans think the club needs yet more youthful talent in its ranks?
