Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney admits he HATES Liverpool ahead of this weekend’s big clash.
“I’m very excited about the match,” he said. “I grew up an Everton fan, my whole family are Everton fans and I grew up hating Liverpool. And that hasn’t changed.
“I think coming to Old Trafford, it will be a difficult game for them. They know they need to win, they need the three points. I’m sure they will be up for it and we certainly will be too. It will certainly end Liverpool’s chances if we win and that’s why we’re looking forward to it.” (tribalfootball.com)
Well that’s a shocker. Not a bit surprise and clearly the result of a pre match interview days before the big game, but what’s the point? I mean i think its clear that most players on both sides, especially the older ones, clearly hate the opposing team (although not neccesarily the players). So Manchester United and Liverpool fans what do you reckon the score will be on Saturday?
