Top TEN Premier League signings: Manchester City, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Everton and West Ham United men make the list!
by Mr Comfort on March 17th, 2009 4 commentsIts a list, it’s got ten people on it, yes, it’s a top ten list!
Andrei Arshavin (Arsenal)
Whilst he cost a small fortune everyone across Europe wanted this mercurial Russian and Wenger snared him. Sure to be a cult legend at the Emirates and last weekend he gave a sneak preview of what he may well achieve at the club with that sublime solo effort against Blackburn.
Robbie Keane (Tottenham)
The recapture of Robbie represents a great bit of business by the north London club. Buying back a player for £8m less than you sold him just seven months earlier makes good business sense but more importantly the Irishman has already proven that he can continue where he left off and spearheading the Tottenham attack. Three wins and two draws in his first five games back in a Spurs shirt isn’t a coincidence you know! (timeaddedon.com)

So what do you make of the list, about right? I can think of a couple of other names, but think this list is pretty spot on.

If everybody wanted Arshavin, why did Arsenal only decide to make the purchase on the very last day of the Transfer Window with no other teams linked? What a pile of shit. While I agree the player is awesome, you’re just making most of that paragraph up.

In response to Ian’s comment,Spurs tried to buy Arshavin in the summer and Barcelona was one of the few clubs watching him..Luckily for Arsenal,Wenger finally come to his sense and tried to sign him in the January transfer window..And the fact they finally signed him on the very last day of the transfer window was down to the fact that Zenit was greedy enough to not let him go easily eventhough Arshavin said he will not play for Zenit if he’s not allowed to move to Arsenal..And I think even if at that time some other clubs make an offer for him,he will simply move to Arsenal as he stated that he’s a gooner..Hope to get this fact right about Arshavin..

What’s Keane got anything to do with it. HE’S SHIT!!!!!!
most of his goals since he came back to spurs have been penalties!!!
Obviously I’m a west ham fan. I can say that Valon Behrami was the best signing as he was like the only signing. That bloke could run about for fucking hours.
