Middlesbrough have a habit of buying players who no one has heard of. It’s not like they end up being untapped talents that show the remarkable scouting system in operation at the Riverside, these guys generally end up showing little in the way of talent and are offloaded (Dong would be the best example of this). Emnes has not exactly impressed, mind you he did score on his only start for the club thus far but that was against Yeovil. (timeaddedon.com)
