Could Pepe Guardiola be planning a sneaky bid for a United first teamer?
Manchester United fullback Patrice Evra is a target for Barcelona.
El Mundo Deportivo says signing a left-sided fullback is a priority for Barca this summer and they have already sounding out Evra’s representatives about a move to the Nou Camp. (tribalfootball.com)
It seems that Barcelona conduct transfer situations in much the same way their La Liga rivals Real Madrid do, i.e. by sneaking stories into their local newspapers. Patrice Evra has been a real bargain since he arrived at Old Trafford for £5.5m just over three years ago and has made the left back slot his own, would he entertain a move to Spain, i don’t think so. Would Sir Alex even consider letting a first team player leave for a major European competitor, hell no!
