Get ready. The all new rumour reporting article system is in full effect!
Argentina striker Diego Milito is hoping for a move to England and the Tottenham target’s agent is in England to talk to ‘several’ Barclays Premier League clubs.
The Genoa striker has also been linked with Manchester rivals United and City recently and agent Fernando Hidalgo is in no mood to dampen transfer talk after the 29-year-old’s impressive season in Serie A.
Reports this morning suggested the 29-year-old is on the verge of sealing a £14.5million move to Jose Mourinho’s Inter Milan, but Hidalgo said: ‘Is Milito going to Inter? I’m in London and I’m talking to several clubs.
‘I can’t say which clubs they are I can only say that they are important.
‘Is it true that I’ve met directors from Manchester United?
‘If I’m here there’s a reason, there are interesting offers for him in the Premier League and we are evaluating them.
‘Of course Milito wants to go to England otherwise I wouldn’t be here.’

It seems that Milito’s agent Mr. Hidalgo likes talking, especially to the media! “Is it true that i’ve met directors from Manchester United?”, well i doubt it, i can not imagine that Sir Alex is interested in signing the Argentine although he definitely has interested suitors at Spurs and Everton, both clubs apparently were very much interested in the 29 year old last summer.
Man City are also heavily linked with the free scoring forward but think of the striker they already have. Bellamy, Robinho, Caicedo, Bojinov, Jo, Evans and Sturridge to name just seven! I feel that if Mark Hughes is going to bring in another front man then it will be a stellar signing and not a move for Diego. Everton of course need strikers and the only thing in the way of such a move would be the cost which leaves Spurs.
Harry Redknapp has been linked with a few hotshots since he took over and even though he has four top notch strikers at White Hart Lane the rumours are circulating that both Bent and Pavyluchenko could be surplus to requirements and that could pave the way for a move for the Genoa man.
Milito to Spurs: Very possible
Milito to Man United: Very Very unlikely
Milto to Man City or Everton: Don’t bet on it.
