Go on, you know you want to know!
Whilst it is always a detestable trait we all like to see what goes on behind closed doors, well thanks to this latest piece from The Spoiler we are now that little bit nearer being that Fly on the Wall. CLICK HERE to read the piece.
In all seriousness it has been reported today that Harry Redknapp will ban players drinking.
“I’ll implement a strong rule next season that drinking is a no-no here. Footballers should dedicate their lives to playing.”
He added: “Footballers should not drink. You shouldn’t put diesel in a Ferrari. I know it’s hard but they are earning big money, they are role models to kids.” (The Sun)
One does wonder if this is a total ban? Would it literally mean his players would not be able to imbibe alcohol from the moment pre-season begins until the season ends in late May? I only pose the question because a friend of mine who plays for Spurs doesn’t have the guts to ask Mr. Redknapp to clarify his stance.
