The all new rumour reporting article system is in full effect!
Diego Milito’s agent Fernando Hidalgo has confirmed that he has had a number of ‘interesting offers’ from English clubs for his client.
After leaving relegated Real Zaragoza last season the Argentinean surprised everyone by joining Serie A side Genoa.
The move to Italy has not curbed his goalscoring exploits though with the 29-year-old claiming 19 league goals from 29 games this term.
Hidalgo also declared last week that he was set for talks with a number of Premier League clubs over his client’s future and it now appears that some are set to make concrete offers
It is thought that Manchester City or Tottenham will be the likely destination should the frontman switch to England but Inter Milan are expected to fight hard to try and lure the striker to stay in Italy.
“English clubs have made interesting offers,” Hidalgo told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

For the past five years Mr. Milito has not been able to stop scoring. He does it for fun and his continued success has led to rumours of a departure from Genoa, the club that adores him and brought him back for a second spell last September and then watched as the Argentine went into overdrive, netting 19 Serie A goals and taking the once massive club (nine Italian titles but the last over 80 years ago) to within touching distance of a Champions League spot.
His agent appears to be courting his client around and perhaps the strongly built 29 year old is looking for what could be his final transfer, and it could be one that brings him to the Premier League to see if at his peak he can make an impact on the best league in the world.
Yes Man City have the money but Milito may feel he is more likely to get a decent shot at first team selection at Spurs, where Harry apparently plans on offloading both Pavyluchenko and Bent. He would be a good signing for sure and his ability in the air and his hustle and bustle approach to the game suggest that he has the physicality to deal with the English game.
Milito to Spurs: After all the talk i think this may well just come to fruition after all!
Milito to Man City: He may opt against an Eastlands move for fear that the following week they buy Kaka, Pato and Torres!
