The all new rumour reporting article system is in full effect!
David Bentley has been told he has no future at Tottenham, and Roman Pavlyuchenko’s days also look numbered after a tantrum on Saturday.
Pavlyuchenko was replaced by Fraizer Campbell for the last 15 minutes against Manchester City. The Russian striker ignored Harry Redknapp, who had waited to greet him on the touchline, and the Spurs manager applauded sarcastically in Pavlyuchenko’s direction as the Russian stormed towards the dressing rooms.
‘I don’t like that,’ said Redknapp. ‘You’re looking to scrap away, the fans are here, they pay their money to watch and when a player runs down the tunnel without sitting and watching his team, getting behind his team”

Well this merely confirms what Spurs fans worldwide must have been well aware of, and that is that Harry Redknapp doesn’t see a White Hart Lane future for either Roman or David. Should that worry Tottenham fans, not really.
David Bentley has been a complete waste of money, something again many home fans could have told Juande Ramos before he invested way to much money in the David Beckham wannabe (see what i did there, it’s a Spice Girls reference dummy!). Roman Pavlyluchenko is another kettle of fish though.
The Russian has tried his heart out for the team and has shown glimpses of the player that everyone wanted to sign post Euro 2008 but it seems that he has little chance of breaking Redknapp’s favoured strike partnership of Keane and Defoe. The stats show that the former Spartak man has managed 14 goals from 26 starts so that’s not that bad but to be fair a lot of that success was achieved en route to the Carling Cup Final.
Either way both will surely be sold the question is, will the north London club get anywhere near the original £29m outlay made last summer?
Bentley and Pavyluchenko to leave Spurs: Yep, that’s a certainty!
