The all new rumour reporting article system is in full effect!
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been linked with a move for VFL Wolfsburg midfielder and captain Josue, according to reports in the German press. Wenger has already been linked with the 29 -year-old’s team mate, Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko.
Reports suggest Wenger’s close confidant Boro Primorac was impressed with the Brazilian international when watching forward Edin Dzeko at the weekend.
Josue has been a regular in the Brazilian national team since making his debut in 2007 providing an anchor for the attacking stars at Brazil’s disposal. Since joining Wolfsburg in 2007 the tough tackling holding midfielder has made over 60 appearances and been given the captain’s armband.
Wolfsburg are on the verge of winning the Bundesliga for the first time in their history.

Josue is the latest of Wolfsburg’s overachievers to find themselves in the worldwide media spotlight. Hot on the heels of fellow Brazilian Grafite and Bosnian pairing Edin Dzeko and Zvjezdan Misimovi? comes the Bundesliga leaders Captain and former Sao Paulo defensive midfielder Josué Anunciado de Oliveira who has been a marvel in Felix Magath’s side and would be a very useful acquisition should Arsene make the move.
Arsenal have not ably replaced Mathieu Flamini who was himself not really the best fit to replace Patrick Vieira so for some time now Wenger has had to try to fit square pegs into round holes and whilst Josue may well be a good signing, he is nearing his 30th birthday and therefore by no means a long term solution to a very real problem.
Josue to Arsenal: Not sure about this one, Arsene will surely consider a move for Veloso or Yaya Toure as first choice signings for this position.
