AC Milan defender Kakha Kaladze is again in the sights of Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez.
Benitez was blocked from signing the Georgia international two years ago and has remained a big fan.
Kaladze missed much of this season with injury, but Milan management are planning to build their defence next season around the stopper.
Milan sources say Benitez hopes an offer of £7 million will convince the Rossoneri to sell.

Versatile Georgian defender Kaladze is getting on a bit, now aged 31 he has been used sparingly by AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti, but he can still do a job when required.
With an ocean of experience after eight years at the San Siro one can see why Rafa Benitez would see a use for Kakha. Sami Hyypia has now left the club and therefore there isn’t a great deal in the way of central defence back up, luckily this former Dynamo Kiev man also works well at left back and is a pretty solid and reliable customer and one well worth bringing in, but the price seems a bit much for a player of advancing years.
Kaladze to Liverpool: The Milan side is looking to rebuild at the back so this could well be a realistic Benitez target.
