The Rumour
CHELSEA are planning for life without Didier Drogba as they eye up two of Europe’s hottest striking properties.
Atletico Madrid’s Sergio Aguero, who is Maradona’s son-in- law, has been outstanding in La Liga. He is a target for a string of top clubs in Europe and would cost around £50million.
But the Blues’ scouts are also tracking Bosnian hitman Edin Dzeko. He scored again yesterday as Wolfsburg hammered Werder Bremen 5-1 to clinch their first German title. Dzeko is rated at around £25m.

The Analysis
Roman Abramovich may well have taken a big hit in the wallet in the current recession but according to this source it won’t stop the Russian Billionaire from looking to bankroll the club back to the summit of Mount Premier League.
Didier Drogba looks more than likely to leave which would leave a space for a striker to player alongside top scorer Nicolas Anelka and both of these named are bang in form but represent a very big dent in the Chelsea chairmans pocket change.
Kun Aguero is a talented player but as he proved in a recent match against Valencia he also has a tendency to dive outrageously, a fact that sadly has probably cost the Mestalla club a Champions League spot after the Argentine committed one of the worst dives in living memory (you can see the dive in question by CLICKING HERE) and that gave Atletico Madrid the win they needed in a hugely important encounter. Personally i believe the price tag on Diego Maradona’s son in law is very inflated and a move for Dzeko would be a far wiser one.
The Wolfsburg man formed a fantastic partnership with Brazilian hotshot Grafite and many of the newly crowned Bundesliga men are said to be very unhappy that their boss is set to leave for Schalke and therefore expect many bids to be made but i would imagine that Chelsea could well win the race for the Bosnian.
The Likelihood
Dzeko and Aguero to Chelsea: It being the credit crunch I expect just one of these two to make it to Stamford Bridge and if i were a Blues fan I would be hoping for Edin to be the top priority.

Chelsea should get the signing of edin-dzeko and franck ribery before june ending for them to be able to adapt to the team with the pre-season matches taking place and also this season’s transfer shouldn’t be like the robinho saga, coz it was very painful we(chelsea)fail to sign him,so let abrahamovic get the cash to get both ribery and dzeko please, chelsea 4life and 4real.
