The all new rumour reporting article system is in full effect!
Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho has confirmed he wants to sign Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho.
In his column for the Sunday Telegraph, Mourinho wrote: “One player who would improve us at Inter is Ricardo Carvalho.
“He is not playing at Chelsea now and it looks like Alex is in front of him, so maybe it is better to let him come here and play.”

Now correct me if i am wrong, but isn’t this a rather unsubtle attempt at ‘tapping-up’ from the former Chelsea boss? As for his assertion that Brazilian centre back Alex is in front of Ricardo Carvalho, well i don’t think that is strictly true either as the Portuguese international has been injured for a significant portion of the season and who knows maybe whoever succeeds Guus Hiddink at Stamford Bridge will see the ideal pairing at the back to be John Terry and Carvalho? Either way it’s a bit naughty of the “Special One” to act in this manner and it may well worry Blues fans.
Of course Jose has been linked with a number of his former playing staff and the Inter Milan boss may well consider bringing in Didier Drogba in the summer but clearly when a manager makes it clear in his newspaper column who he actually wants then that is a different ball game and no doubt Roman Abramovich would have been on the phone to Mourinho to have a word about these underhand tactics.
Ricardo Carvalho to Inter Milan: You know what, I think this may well just happen, much to the chagrin of the west London club’s supporters.
