The Analysis

Pepe Guardiola’s side just clinched the treble and did so with a side and squad with a decent sprinkling of youth and experience so why would Barcelona then need to bankroll such a move? This again smacks of lazy journalism of the kind that Arsenal fans have gotten very used to.

Every week Fabregas is once again linked with a move back to Spain and it’s got to such an extent that it really is getting quite boring and I really don’t see Cesc becoming the fourth former Gunner at the Nou Camp.

Apart from anything else how the hell would you manage to squeeze Xavi, Iniesta and Fab into the same midfield?
