Burnley’s victory could also be a bonus for Everton, who are rumoured to be in the market for Sheffield United’s defender Kyle Naughton, after the Yorkshire club’s defeat in the play-off final last weekend. The 20-year-old fullback could be available at around £4m, and Everton’s ability to offer European football would be a drawer for the player.

Even though David Moyes already has a talented left back in the shape of Leighton Baines and even a potential England international replacement in versatile centre back Joleon Lescott, I can still see why the Toffees manager is considering this move.
Naughton is an exciting talent who hasn’t looked back since he got his first chance at a Sheffield United start at the beginning of this past season. He went on to rack up 45 starts in his first season which is unprecedented and goes a long way to show just how much he impressed Blades boss Kevin Blackwell.
United will be loathed to sell but they will have a fight on their hands to keep the young mans head from turning and could benefit from offloading the youngster for a decent price.
Naughton to Everton: Very likely indeed!
