Tottenham‘s Gareth Bale has fallen out of favour under Harry Redknapp. The 19-year-old left back is a useful utility man, also being able to play in midfield and would be a useful addition to Fulham’s line-up. Paul Konchesky currently has no obvious replacement and Fulham’s back-four are unlikely to escape another relatively injury free season.

For quite some time Gareth Bale has become haunted with something of a Trivial Pursuit style fact that states that the youngster is still yet to play in a winning Premier League team. After 24 attempts he is still to taste victory in the top tier which is a shame but by no means an unenviable stat of his own making.
Many forget that the full back is still just a teenager and that he still has a lot to learn and I am sure Harry Redknapp will still consider the Welshman to have a future at the club even though he is not a first choice starter. In many ways he could benefit from a move to Craven Cottage but he sure as hell wouldn’t consider it unless he was a guaranteed starter at the west London club but Roy Hodgson is a firm favourite of Konchesky so such a move would be unlikely unless Bale was pushed up to play more as a wing back.
Bale to Fulham: Not going to happen. The former Southampton man still has a point (or should that be three) to prove at White Hart Lane.
