The all new rumour reporting article system is in full effect!
Marseille striker Djibril Cisse would welcome a move to Tottenham.
Sunderland have decided not to take up the option on Cisse, who told Sky Sports: “Yeah, honestly, yeah.
“It is a really good team and a really good stadium and good atmosphere.
“But at the moment it is only talk. When I have more news, I’ll let you know.”
He added about Harry Redknapp: “I have heard a lot of good things about him. It would be good.”
But Cisse insists he has not been approached by any club, despite rumours he told Sunderland players earlier in the season that he was set to join Spurs.
“The only choice I have now is Marseille. So at the moment I am a Marseille player. I hope that I am going to find a club in England,” he said.

Damn right Cisse wants a move to Spurs. Having seen Sunderland opt against signing the French international permanently he finds himself winging his way back to a Marseille side who have managed perfectly well without him thank you very much. Eric Gerets took the Ligue 1 side to within a touching distance of the title and now Didier Deshamps has taken over at the Stade Velodome and Djibril finds himself a little out in the cold.
That the Black Cats would not move for last seasons top scorer says it all I think. The 27 year old can in many ways be more trouble than he is worth and his career has stuttered badly since the his prolific days at Auxerre.
Harry Redknapp has been linked with the former Liverpool man for a while now but any more for the striker will hinge on whether he offloads any of the four international class front men he already possesses!
Cisse to Tottenham: Afraid not Mr. Cisse!
