Arsenal Prepared for £50m Midfield Maestro Raid

The Rumour
Barcelona are preparing a £50m bid for Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas but could face competition from Chelsea and Real Madrid.

The Analysis
And here we go again! Yes the source is not the most reliable and yes it’s the 107th time Barcelona have been linked with a move for Cesc this month! Barcelona just did the treble and whilst Real Madrid need to splash the cash to improve their squad I sincerely doubt Pepe Guardiola needs to do so.
Arsene Wenger knows just how important Fabregas is to the club so would never consider selling such a huge player no matter how much was offered, which leaves us with the player himself. Well yes he was a Barcelona youth player when the north London club cleverly snapped him up for nothing and yes he may well have an allegiance to the Catalan club but the 21 year old has repeatedly stated his desire to stay at Arsenal and I believe he will be true to his word.
The only danger the club would have to plan for is if the French boss leaves then such a move becomes more likely but again Wenger has committed himself to the club and appeared to dismiss any interest in the Real Madrid job which has of course now been taken, speaking of which, what happens to Juande Ramos now?
The Likelihood
Fabregas to Barcelona: Rest easy Gooners, this is not going to happen!

Fabregas knows there would be no point going to Barcalona.
Why would he want to go there when he knows he wouldn’t get first team football.
Barca alredi have xavi, iniesta, Y,toure, hleb, busquets n keita in midfield….fabregas would be just another number to barcalona.
at arsenal he is worshipped by the fans, the manager n his fellow players.
im not sayin he wont go there, its his boyhood dream n the club he supports so eventually he will, but right now for the time being he knows arsenal is the place to be.

Yeh I mean I doubt he would chuck away the opportunity to learn what it is to be a captain, especially as he has been given it at such a young age! I mean the longer he is captain for arsenal, the more seriously he will be considered for spanish captain some day. Also as you said the fans love him here, and he wouldnt be treated like such an idol and allstar at barcelona, he would just be another ordinary player to em.
What the world does now realise yet, is the serious fire power arsenal will gain with the return of rosicky and eduardo, there returns will make arsenals fire power overwhelming! the fire power indepth will be unheard of. I said it before Ill say it again, arsenal need sendeross back, people expect perfection from him, and when he doesnt deliver it people make a big fuss out of it. I mean look at the goals vidic let in the champions league final, you dont hear people making a fuss about em…
