Moyes swoops for battling midfielder.
Rennes midfielder Stephane M’Bia has agreed to join Everton, according to reports.
The 23-year-old Cameroon international, who is valued at around £4 million, has been linked with a move to England for some time, with Arsenal also said to have shown an interest.
His chances of a move took a step closer last month when Rennes general manager Pierre Dreossi admitted M’Bia would be allowed to leave at the right price.

David Moyes is a manager who seems to have one of the tightest budgets in the Premier League so whenever they do finally manage to secure a good signing it’s always worth talking about.
Stephane M’Bia has been the target of many clubs admiration with the Cameroonian impressing many during his five years at Rennes helping the club to a succession of top seven finishes and now it appears that he is about to leave the French League for a shot in the Premier League.
The Defensive Midfielder has been consistently compared to former Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira and whilst such comparisons usually do more harm than good I am confident that if the Toffees have indeed sealed the deal for the 23 year old then it is a very good capture.
