There is no doubt that the longer RVP goes without signing a new contract the longer Gunners fans will have to legitimately worry about the Dutchman’s future at the club. The inspirational striker no doubt has no immediate plans to leave the club that he has served for just over five years but noises made by the former Feyenoord man and his agent have occasionally given Arsenal fans cause for concern.

Jose Mourinho is no doubt planning for the imminent departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic who has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid amongst others. Van Persie on his day is unplayable for defenders but niggling injuries have somewhat stifled the 25 year old’s progress at the Emirates.
