Yet another front man linked with a move to Anfield.
LIVERPOOL have a new striker target – Lazio’s Goran Pandev.
Kop boss Rafa Benitez is determined to boost his squad despite the club’s financial problems.
The Macedonian, 25, is valued at £15million but will be out of contract in a year’s time.
Chelsea and Tottenham are among the other interested clubs.

Goran Pandev has been linked with a move to the Premier League for a while now and it seemed like he was on his way to Spurs last summer until the move apparently broke down. Now the Macedonian attacker seems to be back doing the rumour mill rounds.
The rangy striker who also plays behind the front man (and has done for most of this season behind Argentine Mauro Zarate) is idolised at the Stadio Olimpico but reports suggest that he has grown unhappy at the club who is now considered a mid table Serie A side.
Once again Tottenham are registering their interest in the Lazio man but if Rafa wanted to snare him then clearly he has the Champions League to offer and Pandev could be a good foil for Fernando Torres. However the price does seem steep for a player who has just a year to run on his contract so if the Rome outfit is about to sell him they may want to alter their valuation quite a bit, otherwise clearly Benitez could wait a year and get him for nothing.
Pandev to Liverpool: Possibly the player’s agent is drumming up interest in his client so as to get an improved contract, but may well be worth Rafa making a move this summer to test the water.
