Yet another youngster linked with a move to the Emirates.
Arsenal have been told to up their offer for PSG defender Mamadou Sakho.
The 19-year-old has been linked with Barcelona and Bayern Munich but has made it clear his preference is to join Arsenal. His agent Tim Hager, however, says Arsenal’s valuation is “too cheap”.
Hager said: “He will be moving clubs this summer. Arsenal are interested, but the club are too cheap at the moment. A transfer will happen soon. He wants to play football in England and Arsenal are a good club. They want him the most. Bayern Munich are a top European club, so I think it will be Bayern or Arsenal.”

Arsene Wenger has been trailing teenager Sakho for some time and it appears we are nearing crunch time. With many other sides very keen on signing the Paris Saint Germain defender who has been dubbed as the new Marcel Desailly by his agent the Arsenal boss must put his money where his mouth is to secure the highly rated Frenchman.
Clearly the Gunners boss would like to bring in another defender or two but the fans may be unsure of the value in signing yet another relatively inexperienced player. Mamadou had a great season last term but at just 19 the danger is that Arsene is again buying a player who lacks top level playing time when what the team needs is a solid central defender with a base of proven talent and that could be why the boss is unwilling to bid big.
A move for Newcastle United‘s Sebastien Bassong may well be a more intelligent proposition as the relegation bound centre back had a great season in the Premier League last term and is apparently very interested in such a move.
Sakho to Arsenal: PSG may price the youngster out of a move to north London.
