Fergie sets out good use of Ronaldo cash!
The Rumour
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is making a British record £45million bid for Valencia striker David Villa.
Ferguson will take on Real Madrid for the signature of the Spanish star who will be sold by his cash-strapped club.
Villa has been on the United manager’s radar for several years and now he has the money from the £80m sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Real to fight them for Villa.

The Analysis
It seemed the Spaniard was all set to become the third high profile Real Madrid capture in a week but the move seems to have stalled over wage demands and now Sir Alex Ferguson, keen to punish the La Liga club for tapping up his Man United side once too many times, is ready to pounce.
David Villa is a lethal finisher who has been at the top of his game for a few years now and simply can not stop scoring in La Liga. The diminutive striker has scored 102 goals for Valencia in the past four seasons but the club can ill afford to turn down such a massive bid given their financial woes.
Whilst it’s uncertain just hot effective the striker would be in the Premier League, Ferguson would only have to take a look at the magical displays his international striker partner Fernando Torres puts in week in week out at Liverpool to know that Villa could well be a huge success in England.
