Two players who Wenger can probably afford to lose.
The Rumour
Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor is in the sights of Roma.
Tuttosport says Vinicio Fioranelli’s consortium has Adebayor on their shopping list as they continue takeover talks with Roma.
Along with Adebayor, Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is also on Fioranelli’s shortlist.
New Galatasaray coach Frank Rijkaard is planning a raid on Arsenal for defender Philippe Senderos.
Rijkaard sees Senderos as an ideal replacement for Servet Cetin, who is leaving Gala to join Olympique Marseille.
Senderos is ready to quit Arsenal after spending last season away on-loan at Ac Milan.

The Analysis
There are players linked with moves out of the Emirates that the fans wouldn’t want to see go, the likes of Kolo Toure and of course the oft rumoured to leave for Barcelona Cesc Fabregas. Then there are those players who are connected with a move away from Arsenal who won’t cause too much of a panic amongst the club’s supporters.
Emmanuel Adebayor has annoyed many with his actions over the past twelve months and he looks almost certain to leave and Ac Milan were set to be the most likely destination and a bidding war between the San Siro outfit and Roma may speed things up a little on that front.
Philippe Senderos is a different kettle of fish altogether. A determined and passionate player who was loaned out to Milan can probably be let go should he choose to make his move from the north London club permanent. He may jump at the chance of a new challenge at Galatasaray as at least he may be guaranteed a first team spot.
The Likelihood
Senderos and Adebayor to leave Arsenal: Fairly likely.
