Striker finally set to join former teammate Flamini at Serie A title chasers!
Italian giants AC Milan have again made their intentions clear in regards to Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Togo international has been linked with Milan for much of the off-season and after the sale of Kaka to Real Madrid, it seems as if they will go spending in the upcoming transfer window.
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani says the club will move for Adebayor if they fail to attract Wolfsburg’s Edin Dzeko to the San Siro.
“Adebayor is the alternative to Dzeko, but I’ve called Arsenal to inform them of our interest,” re-affirmed Galliani.
“I’ve spoken to Arsene Wenger and Adebayor was part of the conversation.”

Having seemingly failed to capture Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko to the San Siro, AC Milan are now expected to go all out in their pursuit of Emmanuel Adebayor and this is news that will greatly please most, if not all, Arsenal fans.
The Togolese striker angered many with his want away tactics last summer and now it seems Arsene Wenger has given up on trying to keep the former Monaco man and is instead making plans revolving around how to spend the funds generated from the sale.
I am a little confused as to why the Italian giants are pushing so hard for Adebayor. He had one truly great season the year before last but alot of what he achieved was down to the players around him and last season he showed that he is very much a confidence player and therefore could be considered a very expensive risk to take.
Adebayor to AC Milan: Pretty sure this will happen sooner or later.
