Is there any way back for this soon to be exit bound defender?
The agent of Liverpool defender Alvaro Arbeloa has hinted that it may be time for his client to move on from Anfield and persue the future of his career somewhere else.
The Spanish international right-back has been linked with an £8million move to Real Madrid this summer, heightened by the signing of £17.5million England right-back Glen Johnson this week.
And Garcia Quilon says he believes Reds boss Rafa Benitez knows it’s time to let Arbeloa go.
“Alvaro has a year left on his current deal and Rafa Benitez knows that it’s best to let him go now,” he told the Sunday Mirror.
“The career of a football player has many stages and he is qualified to play anywhere.”

The end is surely nigh for Alvaro Arbeloa’s Liverpool career and now his agent is basically admitting defeat as his client comes to terms with the fact that whilst he has been away at the Confederations Cup his boss has been spending big money on his replacement.
The Spaniard was a pretty solid player for the club and he did give his all for the club and whilst I am sure that his departure has nothing to do with the very public bust up with Jamie Carragher It’s a little sad for the former Deportivo man’s last game for the club would have come in that very match away at West Bromwich Albion.
