Just about every Spurs fan I know thinks that the hard working Russian deserves another season at White Hart Lane but it does look increasingly likely that Harry Redknapp disagrees. Villarreal are just one of many sides looking at one of the heroes of Euro 2008 with a view to making a solid offer.
Pavyluchenko didn’t gel well immediately at Spurs but his hard working nature and industrious play made him a fans favourite and his goal tally last term was by no means poor, 14 goals in 26 starts, it appears he is one of the many players likely to leave the club this summer.
The north London club will however struggle to recoup fully the £13.8m spent on the Spartak Moscow man and for that reason alone shouldn’t Redknapp reconsider?
