Redknapp has more funds to play with as he reshuffles his Spurs pack
Adel Taarabt: A talent never fully realised.
The Rumour
The departure of Didier Zokora, to Sevilla, is getting closer and the Spanish club’s president suggested that the two parties are expected to come to an agreement for the midfielder.
Jose Maria Del Nido said: “I have confidence in finding a solution to this subject in a few days because the situation has changed after the first meeting.”
And another player who wants to leave is Adel Taarabt, their 20-year-old midfielder who spent time on loan at Queens Park Rangers last season.
Taarabt is wanted by Malaga and he said: “There are clubs that want me who are ready to give me a chance. I want to improve and prove my talent. If I stay at Tottenham I wouldn’t be able to do that. I want to leave.”

The Analysis
As Harry goes about his squad trimming, with the help of a huge scythe, these are two players who’s departures won’t be followed by howls of disapproval.
Didier Zokora is an odd type of footballer, able to on occasion amaze with a 80 yard run, but on the whole does little and even though he be adaptable he is clearly a player who isn’t part of the Spurs boss’s plans. There is something of a queue forming for his services oddly enough with Sevilla said to be just one of many clubs looking to sign the midfielder, so say’s his agent anyway.
Adel Taarabt is a player who exploded on the scene with fine cameo performances against Chelsea and West Ham, he was destined to be a great player, or so some thought, but he petered out as soon as it was discovered he couldn’t play for much more than an hour without collapsing!
The Likelihood
Zokora/Taarabt to leave White Hart Lane: Almost certain
