Two players who can easily be replaced!
The Rumour
Bordeaux are chasing Arsenal defender Mikael Silvestre.
The Mirror says Silvestre, 31, has struggled to hold down a regular place after his move from Manchester United last summer.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has also splashed out £11million on Belgian defender Thomas Vermaelen who, like the French international, can play in central defence or left back.
Silvestre has not been a hit with the fans and that has led to Bordeaux believing they may be able to snatch him on a free transfer.
Sunderland are reportedly ready to make a move for Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos, according to the Sunday People.
The British tabloid claims that manager Steve Bruce will offer the Gunners £7 million for the Swiss international as he seeks to strengthen his squad this summer.

The Analysis
Things have been uncharacteristically unstable in the Gunners defence of late, mainly off the pitch but also on the field of play. Kolo Toure’s much publicised spat with William Gallas threatens to curtails both players Arsenal careers. However the two players mentioned in this report are both eminently disposable.
Mikael Silvestre’s arrival at the Emirates seemed like a good idea at the time, an experienced player to help steady the young players at the club, but it failed. The former Man United just didn’t perform well and is definitely not a player the club can rely on to heavily.
Philippe Senderos is not as bad a player as many make out, but at the same time he’s not going to get a good shot at an extended run in the team and could well do with seeking a move elsewhere and at Sunderland he could become a big fish in a small pond and could well thrive and become a better player for it.
The Likelihood
Senderos and Silvestre to leave Arsenal: I think both will leave before the new season starts.
