The Giallorossi have made contact with Spurs about a loan deal for the Wales international.
However, La Stampa says Ac Milan are also keen on Bale and will move for the youngster should Spurs indicate a willingness to sell.

Yes you read that correctly, that’s Gareth Bale, the player famous for never once being on the winning side in a Premier League match! On a serious note, the Tottenham full back is actually a very good player but is still very raw and has a lot to learn and it appears that Harry Redknapp is not to keen on waiting around for the young Welshman to mature.
It seems more likely that the Spurs boss would take a cash offer rather than a loan deal as he looks to re-shape his squad and given the amount of full backs at White Hart Lane and the very real prospect of one or even two more arriving from Sheffield United, it does seem Bale will struggle to get a look in.
