Liverpool Interested in £5m Unknown Midfielder?

The Rumour
Albacete midfielder Ritchie Kitoko is interesting Liverpool.
The Times says Liverpool have expressed interest in the 21 year-old Belgian.
Kitoko has established himself as one of the brightest talents playing outside of the Primera Liga in Spain.

The Analysis
I could pretend to know a great deal about this Congolese Belgian but I would be fooling no one and even though my footballing knowledge is legendary it doesn’t stretch to struggling Second Division teams like Albacete.
One wonders if this isn’t just the handy work of this guy’s agent, after all is it likely that Rafa would show an interest in a player who hasn’t played top tier football and hasn’t even been capped by Belgium or his native Congo, I think not!

yes jed we buy players that no one else wants and we make them in to some of the best players in the world
riera- was a no one and comes to liverpool and becomes starting 11 for spain
torres- crap goal record in spain, now is one of the most feared strikers in the world
mascherano- was stuck on the bench at west ham and now the best defensive mid in the world and argentine captain
alonso- as become the best passing player in the world
agger- was not known before and is now a great defender who can even score goals from about the halfway line
reina- was 3rd choice keeper for spain before, now had 3 seasons of most clean sheets and was only one behind last season and on the verge of becoming spain 1st choice keeper
and even rafa as made gerrard a better player, hes gone from a 10ish goals a season to 20+ goals a season

ash t, agree with most of your comments there except for one.
torres was always going to become one of the world’s best strikers, dont be a dickhead and give the credit to rafa, yes he has improved him, but saying that ‘crap goal record in spain, to one of the most feared strikers in the world’ is a bit much. you make it sound like he was hopeless. he was already a regular in the spain first 11 before we signed him.
