Redknapp continues to build for the future.
Tottenham are ready to outbid Aston Villa for Leeds United midfielder Fabian Delph.
The People says Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is on a push to snap up top young players and is willing to outbid Martin O’Neill’s Villa for midfield dynamo Delph in the next few days.
Delph has been a target for several clubs in recent weeks, but Elland Road sources reveal Spurs are leading the chase.
Villa could lose out on Delph because they are reluctant to match Leeds’ valuation, and Spurs are prepared to bid higher.

19 year old Leeds midfielder Fabian Delph has had a host of clubs monitoring his every move ever since he first got his break at Elland Road two years ago. The intelligent local born lad has been close to a move throughout this summer as he appears set to say goodbye to League One football in search of the big time.
Martin O’Neill is said to have made a substantial offer in recent weeks and apparently Arsene Wenger also considered making a move but now it appears that Tottenham are close to clinching a deal for the England Under 21 international.
With Harry Redknapp coming close to completing the signings of two other impressive young Englishman in the shape of Sheffield United full backs Kyle Walker and Kyle Naughton, it seems that the White Hart Lane boss is keen to build for the future and signing a player with as much potential as Fabian would be a very smart move.
Delph to Tottenham: Seems very likely.
