Not good news!
Samir Nasri has sustained a fractured fibula during this morning’s training session at the Club’s pre-season training camp in Austria.
The midfielder will be out of action for two to three months. Everyone at the Club wishes Samir a speedy recovery. (Official Arsenal site)
Not good news for Arsenal or Nasri, thankfully it comes at a time when long term injury ravaged team mate Tomas Rosicky returns from a lengthy spell out.
This news may force Wenger to go out into the transfer market and invest some of the Adebayor cash for reenforcements, whilst it’s true the club has a great many replacements in the attacking midfield roles it’s also true that many of these are inexperienced.
Basically the way I see it, Arsene needs to buy 2 or 3 mature players or forget about making any ground on the leading pack. Luckily I think the Gunners boss is well aware of this fact.
Get well soon Samir!
