as i said b4…we have no need to sell any our key player such as alonso, mash, or even kuyt…what we neet is to buy silva and another striker…i hope that one is huntelaar…coz he is young n talanted player…in rafa we trust!

personaly i think we are ok down the right
johnson and kuyt complement each other, johnsonis able to push up and cross and allow kuyt to come in, and with johnson weak in defence and kuyt will come back and help in defence
i also think that benayoun is better down the right and babel better as a striker
so i would like another left mid like silva who can also play as a rm and as a second striker

Ash T, I’m afraid I agree with Jimi.G. I think we’re ok down the left, Riera gives us the width, as could Babel with a bit of improvement in his intelligence. And Benayoun gives us something different down the left. In my opinion, it’s the right flank that need improvement, someone that can give us something different than what Kuyt gives. An Aaron Lennon or something of the sort. Definitely could do with a backup left back.

Do u guys not realise rafa is and has been trying to build a winning team, and he now sees alonso as part of that team. He has every right to quote 40mil for alonso, itshis way of sticking his fingers up to RM. And saying he aint for sale. Either they pay over the odds for Xabi or they get lost….I wouldnt sell my prised possesion for the going rate, id have to have an over the top offer to art, and thats what rafas doing

Jimi.G u are right about no point wasnt money on a player in a position we already strong in but if we use babel as a striker than i think silva should be brought, benayoun is good but on the left he comes in to much so hes better used on the right or as gerrard back up, so silva would be a good buy cause of he’s left footed and gives him a choice of coming inwards or going down the wing

i think it will be either silva or lavezzi will be our big signing this year depending on how silva plays against man u in there friendly match

It all depends on how desperate we are to get hold of some money…. as I said before I suspect deals have been done to bring players to liverpool, but now we need the money.
