Time for you all to feel sorry for footballers without a home for the new season!

Sports - September 24, 2007

Footballers rarely deserve sympathy in today’s cash-drenched game.
Fans are fed up with hearing of players being paid six figures for a week’s work, especially when that involves pulling on their boots for a few hours each day.
But spare a thought for the huge number of players that are still without a job with the new season starting on Friday.
The PFA has listed 350 players looking for work, with many more – the total is estimated to be around 600 – on the hunt for a new home.

So this article from the Daily Mail was supposed to highlight the amount of players set to be without a club and just how great a bargain these could turn out to be, one small problem with this, most of the players that are listed are in fact piss poor!

With the notable exceptions of Campbell, Volz and perhaps at a push, Hamann, the rest are not worth considering making a move for. The less said about Antoine Sibierski the better, the Frenchman managed to fool many of his apparent footballing ability for so many years I am surprised that he has finally be tumbled as the usual waste of space that he is!
