Why is he still employed by the club!
Liverpool keeper Charles Itandje is in talks with Greek club Panionios over a possible switch from Anfield.
Itandje signed for the Reds in the summer of 2007 but has only made seven cup appearances for the club and it has been made clear he does not figure in boss Rafa Benitez’s plans.
Itandje has been on the transfer list for a year and was fined by Liverpool last season for his disrespectful behaviour during a service to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster. (Clubcall)
Why we haven’t simply let this tosser go for free is beyond me, we could have simply cancelled his contract the evening after his disgraceful behaviour at the Hillsborough memorial, yes it would have cost the club a little, not a lot, but it was what the French keeper fully deserved.
Many clubs have been sniffing around the 26 year old this summer so let’s hope someone takes him off our hands, and not just because of his actions on that one day, but also because he is a goalie who was pretty poor to be honest and a player that derived no confidence from his back four whenever he was given a chance in a Liverpool shirt.
