No time to panic keeping in mind that the 2nd half saw mostly reserve and youth players against a powerful Valencia and , in my mind, the best winger in LaLiga, Joaquin. I wonder if Wenger is looking at each of the big Spanish teams Arsenal played in order to recruit a hidden jewel. Clearly Fabianski needs to work on his legs since the 2nd goal was embarassing to say the least. Arsenal seem vulnerable to long, low through balls from the midfield and Wenger will need to work on this with his back 4.

you may hate me or like me, but the truth of the matter is … if arsenal have to win any (ANY) then you should always avoid fabiaski and Silvester at the back.
We stand to loose funs, suppoters and taste, without these we ave no funds, if we dont win, we have no reason to compete !!
I myself if Arsenal does not win anything this season, i would rather support Hull city and burn all gonners jersies, they would just ashaming me!
Sell Fabiski and Silvester or them loan out.
They are irritating !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We may play a beautifull game but without goals thats shit !!
If AW is unable to bring anything home … he should resign or get fired to hire Morinho, at least we know he is a real man !!!!
If we have money we should invest, get more, invest again and again …. buy quality players not kids.

Lighten up Pitah…this was a test game where Wenger shoves players around like chesspieces and replaces an entire team in the 2nd half to see who works and who doesn’t. He knows Silvestre is a wanker and Fabianski makes horrible mistakes but he also knows that he has better players who will be playing all the time and with something to play for. Watch the difference next weekend against everton…he will start his top 11 and insist that they play frocious Football, not the pass and run variety we saw against Valencia but the attacking, incisive and hopefully productive Football they are capable of. Everton will be a major competitor for that 4th EC spot this year so a good result will give Arsenal a great start to the season. They have a hard 2 months ahead of them and he is trying to avoid injuries to key players, so he tells them to hold off on the tackles and avoid heavy EPL like contact in these friendlies, but he wqill fire them up for their EPL games……..

Wtf was that defender doing when that guy ran to score the second goal? He should have been in front of him not behind him! I think it was gallas but I could be wrong.

Arsenal suck, tottenham to win the premiership. I molested wenger while he slept last night.
Vorian - August 9th, 2009 at 5:17 pm
Is it just me or tottenham are cheap rip off of arsenal. Using similar tactics but with players who are a shadow of their arsenal counterparts.

Hey Tw@t ……I always thought Spuds fans were faggots now I know they are but thanks for confirming it. By the way, Wenger has much better taste than a Spurts fan…even if he is French! Tottenham will have great difficulty in keeping last season’s place, never mind entering the top 4. Vorian said it best, Twittingham are a cheap ripoff but without the class and skill of Arsenal and they live in the past.
