Liverpool’s Kit for 2010/11 Revealed!
by YNWA on August 11th, 2009 50 commentsYes, I am not that good at Photoshop but you get the idea! New shirt sponsor deal about to be signed and this is what it could well look like!
Liverpool look set to end their 17-year partnership with Danish brewers Carlsberg at the end of the 2009/10 season, according to reports.
Carlsberg and the club have not been able to reach an agreement on a new shirt sponsorship deal, with the Reds looking to double their price from the last time the deal was extended.
Reports suggest that financial giants Standard Chartered look set to sponsor the Reds for around £15million per year. (This is Anfield)
Shame our deal with Carlsberg is set to end but at least the deal would net us one of the most lucrative deals in Europe, see below a list of the Top Sponsorship deals.
Top European Team’s Sponsorship Deals
Manchester United: £20 million a year (£80 million over four years) with Aon
Bayern Munich: £17 million (£68 million over four years) with T-Home
Juventus: £15 million a year (£75 million over five years) with Tamoil
Real Madrid: £12.7 million a year (£38 million over three years) with Bwin.com
Chelsea: £11 million+ a year (£55 million over five years) with Samsung
Liverpool: £7.2 million: Liverpool’s annual fee from Carlsberg expires in 2010
Arsenal: £6.7 million per year (£100 million over 15 years) with Emirates (This is Anfield)

Does seem to be an end to an era but the sponser money needed to be higher and if Carlsberg cant pay then it’s time for a change, hope it looks a hell of a lot better than that!!!

Josh - August 12th, 2009 at 3:34 pm
I’m 19, so to me Carlsberg has always been part of the Liverpool kit and I think as a result I would find our shirts strange if Carlsberg was replaced.
I think that mock up kit above looks weird but that’s because as I said, all I have ever known on a Liverpool top is the Carlsberg logo.
jaja - August 12th, 2009 at 4:10 pm

i dont care what our sponsors are, if they are offering usa better deal with more money in, and that money if going to go in to the transfer fund then im happy with that
anonymous - September 14th, 2009 at 8:55 pm
the sponser will probly be all white like the shirts they wore in the vid of the singnig of the contract
anonymous - September 21st, 2009 at 12:42 pm
HA HA, a shocking attempt at photoshop. I guess Carlsberg has been linked with Liverppol for so long that’ll seem strange at first. But Carlsberg have been a pretty poor sponser in regards to money terms, with the extra cash coming in from it, it’ll only help. Sad to see them go, put football id becoming more of a business market and this peice of business makes sense.
Sure once Torres has banged another 30 goals in wearing it, it’ll look fantastic!!
P.S
Addidas kits normally look good…
anonymous - December 31st, 2009 at 9:11 pm
