Liverpool Should take back Xabi Alonso…liverpool will be good in midfield n defend..that’s the key..he is very good controlling in midfield (the best in PL)..with macsherano (both are great partnership) with partnership of gerrard n torres..

van der vaart has no number for this season so madrid went against the term of his contract so rafa should offer 4m to get him

Donovan Reid, great shout there about Beckham. I think he can still do an effective job. As for that Jap guy, well, he is actually quite good. I have seen him close up few times and quite impressive. Yes…we need the shirt sales too. He will convert half of Japan to be Liverpool fans!

Donavan i agree with you Beckham would be a great signing in my opinion it was glaringly obvious sunday we lacked creativity in the middle of the park and although Beckhams pace as long since gone his ability to pick out a pass hasnt. I think most of us knew for some time that we had very little money to spend this season although i dont think any of us could have realised the true extent of this . One perhaps saving factor in all of this is that at least for the past few seasons Rafa as been bringing in the very best of the young up and coming players in europe and perhaps now we may see these players start to brought into the first team squad. Nemeth Pacheco Spearing, darby, Ayala,Etc Etc. Wenger has done it at arsenal now its our time to do the same these are important times for Liverpool Lets hope Rafa gets it right

Rafa could learn a lot from some of these so called lesser Manager, We need to start looking at some loan signings, David Beckham for one …… WTF, i hear some for you say, but he still retains abilty and there would be no tranfer fee, and so what if he played for Man utd, so did Ince, and do you think that it was easy for Fergie to sign Micheal Owen?…. That fact is that we have little to no cash being give to us by the owners so lets look at bring in some players on loan …… Yes and it would be a great idea to sign that Japaness player now (Shirt sales)

can i ask a question because im really really confused

how come when linked with the likes of arsenal he is worth 15 – 20 mil
but liverpool from free to 7mil maybe stretching to 10mil

i dont get that does anyone actually understand this?
is it just rumours by newspapers and we dont have any interest in him

van der vaart is allowed to leave FOR FREE.
van der vaart can play in central midfield as well until aquilani is fit.

so rafa stick to campbell and lucas neil as well.
