Liverpool Youngster Set for Useful Championship Loan Spell

Brian Laws is trying to take David Ngog on loan from Liverpool.
Sheffield Wednesday’s boss has lined up an audacious move for the youngster after learning that the Reds want to give him more game-time.
Ngog has appeared only fleetingly for the Merseysiders since his switch from Paris St Germain and now Wednesday want to give him the chance to shine in the Championship. (The People)
I think this would be a good move for both club and player. We need to give David N’Gog plenty of room to grow because I firmly believe the potential is there but right now he is very much the unpolished article.
Also by playing in the Championship he will experience the real rigours of English football and come back stronger. However it is very important he doesn’t take any advice from one of the all time Premier League flops, who is currently plying his trade at Sheffield Wednesday, none other than Francis Jeffers!

dont think it will happen we have no strikers as it is if ngog goes out on loan we will be very short in that department Torres Babel Vorinin Kuyt our only forwards, Babel plays left Kuyt Plays Right and that only leaves vorinin mmmmm.

i don’t think it will make a bit of difference in his game even if he plays in the
opening squad of a team like MAN U for the entire season though it may make a difference to the team.
it’ s not the number of games you play but your talent and commitment which matters, sorry but both missing.
waiting when Rafa sees this.
in my view sell him now .

sure! he would fill up the big void left by Xavi in the midfield .
and adding Mathias De Federico to the squad may solve our striker crisis for he
sure is something plus these would be long term investments for the club.

lol BPL_WILL_BE_PAINTED_RED
it might take awhile!
didn’t we buy a guy called flora or something who was one of Brazils big young prospects?
what happened to him? and ngog i’m affraid will never make the grade
and i still have faith with Rafa but he needs to win A cup whether its the league cup or premier league its a must!

Faith in rafa, as much as you have . one game changes nothing.
‘Elm’, u too would agree would be an excellent addition and ‘Federico’ i know it may be a risk , but i would still say would be good for the team ,recently i saw him playing and his playing style suits ours plus why not ,if u can carry the likes of ngog and babel why not he.
Sam!lfc - August 17th, 2009 at 6:35 pm
yeah again your right! federico is good i dunno how much he cost though i haven’t seen Elm play so i can’t make a judgment.
The reason i still have faith in Rafa is because he won us the chmpo league and the Fa cup and got us far in the champions league and now in the premier league so i’m not losing faith in him but 4 years without a trophy isn’t all that great. And yeah one game change nothing.
One thing i’m worried about and annoyed about is that he sacked rick parry becuase he stalled on transfers…….Rafa has aswell sure aquliani and johnson came quick but wat about the other targets?

One thing we all have to agree is that Rafa has his own way for the things .
sure he has style and is mysterious. but he is intelligent too.
we are talking about every player from turner to aguero , but when you have to make decision u cant bring anyone in ,you have to see many things.
he has signed 2 good players this season and i am sure he has players listed up
but u can’t publicly show ur intrests it increases the cost and attention of teams like
man city .
AND to add to the miseries we have nothing from the owners(not much sure about it) so he have to play safe.
hope he signs before this weekend..

BLP I think that ur claim of rafa being highly intelligent maybe blown out of the water by his continual playing of lucas! N’gog should be loaned out, he will only improve by playing in the 5th best league in the world. I know we cant get carried away by 1 bad game, but the fact is we had half a dozen BAD BAD pre season games. We needed to be hitting the ground running. We needed to come out from the opening minute and display the attack mentality that only JOHNSON (and yossi when he came on) showed. Attack, attack, and when the game is looking like it is in the balance…attack some more.
