Sneijder is agonising over his next move and it’s stated that Real president Florentino Perez has also received offers from United and Bayern. The Dutchman wants to go to a team where he is sure of being a first choice. (Mediaset)
Not sure how this story squares with earlier reports today that Sir Alex was not interested in signing any more players during this transfer window, but it’s a signing that I as a Man United fan would be very interested in seeing coming to fruition.
The Dutch international is a special player, a great attacking midfielder who can turn a game with a trick, a quality pass or a cracking long range effort. Sneijder has stagnated a little at the Bernabeu and has been linked with a move to Inter Milan in recent weeks but could now be considering a move to either the Premier League or the Bundesliga.
Arguably Man United could do with an injection of creativity in their midfield and the 25 year old former Ajax man could well be an intelligent option to pursue.
