He always reminded of a Dolphin, not sure why?

Skysports.com understands Hull City and Newcastle United are rivals to sign Aston Villa striker Marlon Harewood on loan.

Hull are desperate for attacking options and spent the summer attempting to secure reinforcements to avoid a repeat of last season’s Premier League relegation battle.

Manager Phil Brown failed in moves for Fraizer Campbell and Bobby Zamora, while Michael Owen was also a target before he joined Manchester United.

Newcastle are also eager for experienced forwards as they aim to earn Championship promotion at the first attempt after dropping from the top flight in 2008/09. (Sky Sports)

Quite apart from the fact that he looks like a dolphin he is also a pretty poor striker and one who has had very little playing time. Quite why Martin O’Neill bought the West Ham man for £4m and then gave him just one Premier League start in two years is beyond me.

If Aston Villa are looking for actual money for the 30 year old then he may end up staying put but in all honesty he can be a potent weapon up front and could be a useful addition to either of the clubs mentioned but they will have to realise that a player who has had such a small amount of time on the pitch may take time to fire on all cylinders.

Am I really the only person who thinks Marlon looks like a dolphin?
