Dimitar Berbatov barely exudes enough energy to get out of bed and put his hairband on, so it was with great surprise that we read about his supposed adventures with a Bulgarian Playboy Playmate of the Year.

The rather lovely Nikoleta Lozanova received the honour of WAG of the Day status for her relationship with (unused) Liverpool goalkeeper Nikolay Mihaylov, but she has since started romancing Georgi ‘The Head’ Stoilov, a feared mob boss.

‘The Head’ isn’t exactly the kind of chap one should cross, but that is exactly what Berbs has done, if a Bulgarian magazine is to be believed. The Sun done a report what sez:

Her boyfriend, Georgi “The Head” Stoilov – a mobster with a reputation for extreme violence – was furious when told of suggestive messages.

The gangster replied to the texts warning Berbatov to keep clear for his own good.

Friends of the stroppy Bulgarian striker have dismissed Nikoleta as a “fantasist”, who invented the rude text messages as a means of winding up her volatile partner. Berbatov, meanwhile, admits to meeting the nude model when she was with keeper Mihaylov, but insists that “nothing happened”. (The Spoiler)

It’s never a good idea to get entangled with the Bulgarian mafia, not that I am that clued up on organised crime in the Eastern European nation, and whilst Dimitar is clearly something of a ladies man (see HERE and HERE for evidence of the strikers womanizing) he really probably wishes he didn’t mess with this guys mustard, so to speak.
