Tottenham Set for £13m Gareth Bale Swap Deal in January?

AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur are negotiating a deal that would see Marek Jankulovski and Gareth Bale swap clubs.
The Rossoneri are willing to give the Spurs the Czech international plus an additional €5 million for the services of the Welsh starlet during the winter transfer window that opens in January.
The 20-year-old has a boatload of potential and can also play as a left midfielder similar to Jankulovski. The report insists that negotiations are already well advanced.
Bale made 30 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham last season, but with the excellent form of Benoit Assou-Ekotto he may have a tough time breaking into the starting XI.
Meanwhile, Jankulovski has been a first team member of the Rossoneri since 2005. (Goal.com)
£8m rated 32 year old Jankulovski is a vastly experienced left sided player who has had near on a decade of success in Serie A with Napoli, Udinese and AC Milan and such a deal could only be of benefit to Harry Redknapp.
Gareth Bale’s failings have been much publicised, not least his inability to take part in a winning Premier League game for the club. He has potential but he doesn’t apparently rock Harry’s world so may well be surplus to requirements. Although still only 20 a move that could see the north London club receiving a decent cash injection plus the Czech international will surely be tempting.
Given that Marek can play just as effectively at left back and further advanced to an almost winger like role, the Spurs boss will be getting a very adaptable player who could thrive in the Premier League. He is also super fit so should still have a few years in the tank.

Jankoluvski is not worth anything like 8 million at aged 32.
He has 1-2 years left in the game at the top level.
This deal is nothing but fantasy.

Bale had his chance, and failed. I like the idea of an experienced replacement, the AC Milan always looks pretty decent when i have seen him.

No Premier League experience, but he does have a Champions League winners medal! In this day and age I would imagine he would be worth about 6m. Remember Joleon Lescott went for 22m, and he’s shit!

you’d be better off keeping bale that stat about not been in a winning team is just that its a stat it doesnt mean every defeat was his fault, i’d have him at liverpool anyday why do you think ac want him he can’t be that bad

Total fantasy to get rid of a player with is abilaty would be one od leveys worse transfers and would undo all the sterling work he has done so far.Lets look at your words describing bale has a failed the lad has failed no one least of all spurs and to say he hasent been in a winning team isent is fault but the bad injurys he suffered ankles take a lot of healing and somtimes the dont heal but with modern methods this is changing and when thi lad is fully fit i meen fully fit you will be drooling over is ability just look at is wales performances age 18 and 19 he stood out him and ramsey and against top teams .The team when him and bentley were playing whas struggling i bet now this wouldent happen he will get this monkey of his back in the carling cup trust me and be a spurs hit there are to many talented ex players at spurs to allow Harry to offload this undouted talent to the mafioso league

Jankulovski is a great, solid player but I’m not sure it would be such a wise signing. I think Bale can come good, especially in the squad as it stands now. If BAE gets injured I’m sure he’ll get a chance to get that stat-mokey off his back and get his confidence back. Forget the money though…the valuation of 8mil for Jankulovski is purely based on the assumption that we value Bale at 13mil which would be ludicrous. If you give this story credence I’d suggest it values Bale at about 7mil which seems about right.

He’s got the pace of a snail, and why oh why would Milan pay £13m for a kid that is forever injured and can’t even get a sniff in our team, total Bullshyte.

Levy – 32yo – 20yo in exchange…..what planet are you on???? This is Daniel “gotta be a return on every investment” Levy we are talking about. There is more chances of me signing for Spurs than this deal ever happening.

The second hand car dealer is at it again, bringing in an old rusty crock and outing a sports model. Redknapp you got you’re £1m bonus for keeping us up now sod off and let a proper manager have a go.

shut up about rednapp sod off we joint top of the league. we are looking as good as we have ever been for a long while. he has been clever this transfer window but i agree we should keep bale he is still young give him a go in a winning team then this stat can fuck off

Why, Jankulovski, is too old at 32. we have enough left side player now how about Gio or Bale still have future at the club.

bale has been unlucky,he’s young and got skill,if there was an exchange it would’nt be for a 32 year old with 2 seasons left in him.

From reading these comments the Tottering Hotspurs have a bunch of really poor abiity writers of proper english on top of their inability to see that Arry has stuffed the career of a very promising player. I hope he goes on loan quickly and then gets the the dream transfer to Milan his talent deserves.

Have a laugh mate, he was fantastic, potential world beater, then got injured, never really got back to full fitness and form and got injured again, now i await until hes back, remember hes still ridiculously young and has been one of the best players on the pitch in the premier league on numerous occasions, the lads going to be class..

Bale should stay with Tottenham DONT LEAVE!!!
