Juventus Plan Move For Arsenal’s Emmanuel Eboue
Juventus are looking at Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue as the answer to their right-back questions, according to Tuttosport.
The reports indicates a move is being planned by club directors for the winter transfer market, as Ciro Ferrara has asked for a reliable defender for his right side. Jonathan Zebina has struggled with injury problems, while Zdenek Grygera has found it hard to perform in the coach’s new tactical set up.
Ferrara is keen to challenge for the Champions League and the Scudetto and he wants a powerful, pacy and combative right-back who can cope with the demands of top European action. In addition, Eboue can play as a midfielder, allowing Ferrara freedom to work with his players and tactics. (Goal.com)
I would be the first to admit that I was unsure of the abilities and attitude displayed by Emmanuel Eboue at stages of the last two seasons but he fought hard and worked to get the boo boys off his back and to a large extent he managed to do just that.
Now a player far more likely to sit on the bench and wait for his chances the Ivorian has been the subject of much speculation surrounding a potential move to Italy, and to be honest if Juventus offer a fee in the region of the supposed £8m valuation then Arsene Wenger would probably take it and perhaps the player himself would welcome a new challenge.
There is no doubting he is a handy player to have as he is adaptable but at the same time he is not going to be a regular at the Emirates so I don’t see Arsene standing in his way if he chose to make such a move.

I think we can afford to let him go now. We have decent replacements for all areas of the pitch now.

not quite sure we have a replacement for right back.

he just signed a new contract and committed to the club.
where does your shit come from

There is a group of Englanders in Arsenal supporters who
dont like black African players. They also seem to be against
this young man. Fortunately, Wenger likes him and will forgive his shortcomings. He offers more to the team than anyone we have there.
Why else do you think AW likes to retain him?

1.55pm are you serious? The only reason Eboue was booed was because of his play, not his colour or nationality. The reason we are glad to see the back of Abebayor is because he was playing a “come and get me” game with other clubs through the media and undermining the squad. I, for one, love Toure and wish him the best. Kanu was great player for us and seems like a very decent man too, unlike the two faced money grabbing Adebayor who didn’t turn up last season even though he got a massive pay rise last summer. So I take offense to your post which says more about you than Arsenal football club.

He is about adaptable sub, and is looking to follow in pak ji sungs foot steps; however a move could benefit him as he would be guaranteed first team football at a big club who wont have 4+7 rule probs.
With the 4+7 rule Italy are probs gonna be the strongest league, as 70% of serie a players are italien anyway…

Seriously arsenal fans hated bendtner just as much, you dont perform for arsenal and they are guaranteed to want your blood. I am not putting out any warnings or anything.

I think Arsenal can afford to let Eboue go and not be all that affected by it – after all, they did it will Adebayor and Toure…

all i can say is roll on january he is a poor player and the sooner he goes the better his dive against man u proves a leopard doesn’t change his spots. GOOD RIDDANCE

personally i think hes really improved this season and whilst he may never be an arsenal legend he is adaptable and provides essential cover at right back. he will also always hold a fond place in my heart for turning up at gilberto’s xmas party dressed as a tiger, even though it wasnt even a fancy dress party. for me thats legendary. and if he can hold off diving then i see no reason why we shouldnt retain his services

If this happens then I think arsenal will officially be a selling club. Spurs will take your place in the top 4.
Hahahahaha…. SPURS ARE BETTER THAN ARSENAL

what a pathetic comment from a previous observer that he turns up in fancy dress what an absolute plonker just like eboue who never was particularly good at “defending” please take the money and run join addeybayor far away

he is a great player and a professional futballer.
i think winger kept him on the bench because he is tiered of him so for me i still love to see eboue flying the gunners flag he is amoung my best 10 players we have but such is life and i know he cant afford to live the Big Brothers b/cos here he leant enough. last season he won the most loving player in arsenal bcos he celebrates every bodies goal like his.
well such is the game if eventualy he lives arsenal is still wat they are(I wish him well)
ARSENAL FOR LIFE
