International break done and dusted, back to the real deal!
Liverpool defender Fabio Aurelio could make his first appearance of the season after completing his recovery from a cartilage operation.
The Brazilian, who hurt his knee while playing with his son on holiday, should at least be on the bench.
Burnley could give new loan signing David Nugent a competitive debut.
The former England international made his Clarets bow in a midweek friendly to raise money for Burnley’s cash-strapped neighbours Accrington Stanley.Liverpool

After Owen Coyle’s men shock win over Man United the other week it would be a good idea if we do not deem this as a home banker and I hope that Rafa has made our players view that match on DVD to make it perfectly clear that Burnley are a thoroughly decent side who in my view have enough about them to a) beat the drop that many have speedily predicted and b) to give us a tough match.
The performance against Bolton was an important one for so many different reasons. We needed the three points of course but the mentality and desire shown by the players could be worth so much more when we come to the crunch time of the season.
As well as the team news provided by the BBC the latest news is that Javier Mascherano may be battling to make it for the game also.
My Prediction: 2-0
